Everybody deserves great pizza.
Because everyone deserves great pizza, that’s why. It’s a simple idea, but a noble cause that’s behind everything we do at Fiery Chef.
Pizza Peel Care 1. Simply wash the pizza peel in warm water with mild soap. 2. Do not soak it. Rinse with clean water. Do not place on wet countertops. 3. To prevent drying of pizza peel, once washed and dried, treat your pizza peeler with food safe oil. Always wash board after preparing raw meats to avoid food contamination. 4. Please note that the pizza peel is not safe for dishwasher.
How to use a Pizza Peel
If this is your first time using a pizza peel, you may be feeling nervous. We're not going to sugarcoat it ... it will be messy. The main objective when using the pizza peel to transfer your pizza, as obvious as it sounds, is to make sure the pizza moves freely on the pizza peel before you try and attempt the move onto the baking stone. This can be done by coating your pizza peel with a thin layer of cornmeal or flour before placing your dough and all its delicious toppings on top. If your dough moves around on your pizza peel when shaking it gently, then you are in good shape for the epic move (sliding the pizza onto the baking stone).
Hold your pizza peel, with the pizza and all its toppings, then shuffle the pizza side to side to make sure that it is not stuck. Once you see that the pizza is able to move around, open your pre-heated oven (be careful of the rising heat) and tip the end of the pizza peel so that it is resting onto the far side of the baking stone. Once you are happy with its alignment, gently shufle the pizza side to side very slightly and pull the pizza peel back very slowly at the same time until the whole pizza is on the baking stone.
Tip: Focus on siding the pizza peel from under the pizza rather than trying to slide the pizza off the board and onto the baking stone.
Leave the pizza to bake for the recommended time and then when the base has cooked you will need to remove the pizza from the oven. To do this, slide the pizza peel between the pizza and the baking stone while keeping it flat and parallel to the surface of the stone. Once the pizza peel is fully underneath the pizza, lit it up and out of the oven.
Caution: Because the base is no longer dough, it will move around on your pizza peel more easily, so be careful whilst maneuvering it.
Caution: Be careful not to burn your hands by touching the stone or oven.
Aspire to achieve
Gretel has been determined to become a famous pizza chef since he was a child. When he studied hard to cook pizza, he found that in making pizza, he needed a good pizza peel to get twice the result with half the effort. A good pizza peel must have:
1. Not heavy, light enough.
2. Good hardness, not easy to break, durable, can withstand the test of time, known for its strength to weight ratio.
3. Not easy to heat, when the cooked pizza comes out of the oven, the container holding the pizza will not easily heat and burn the hand.
4. Suitable for everyday use, yet stylish enough to impress family and friends.
Grater experimented with a variety of materials and found that bamboo was the most cost-effective, so he decided to use bamboo as the crust for his flagship pizza peel.
Soon after, Fiery chef pizza peel was born as a premium manufacturer of bamboo pizza peel baking products, who plans to help all aspiring pizza bakers realize their dreams and delight family and friends through the joyful experience of pizza baking.
